Ava's gas was 82 this morning. She was up at 4am again, mad but she doesn't desat. They think that she doesn't like her vent settings. So, they took her off of the home vent and back on the old vent. They only put her on a rate of 10 breaths per minute from the 38. They got a gas of 76 so they liked that better. When she was sleeping tonight she is only breathing 15 or so breaths per minute, so we are hoping her body kicks in and doesn't rely on the vent. The nurse was so nervous that she got a gas and it came back 64 and that is good.
Ava did breast feed well today. Yeah! I was a happy mommy. Plus she was excited to see me. She kept following me with her eyes around the room and she seemed actually happily surprised to see me walk in the room this morning.
Ava weighs 5.18 kg which is 11.42.
Praying for Ava to grow and be healthy...
