Ava's settings are better today. Her O2 was 58% this morning, her amplitude is 20, and her mean is still 14. Her chest x-ray was the same as yesterdays. The nurse said that she can tell that Ava doesn't like the oscillator. Hopefully she will fight to get off of it.
Her CO2 blood gas was 55 this afternoon, so they put her mean down to 13. CO2 was 54 this evening. They didn't change her settings at all since they were so aggressive this morning. She looked bigger when I saw her. They are going to weigh her later tonight so we'll see how much she weighs tomorrow.
