Ava's having a pretty good day today. Her blood gas was 51% this morning. She did lose some water because her chest x-ray was better and everything like the heart looked clearer. Her amplitude was 24 this morning and her O2 was in the 70s. They changed her amplitude to 22 this evening and her O2 was 67%.
Tonight, she is 63% O2. She is still not inflated enough to put the mean down (which is 16). She's satting in the 90s. She now weighs 2lbs. 12 oz. She is eating 24 ml of food. She has lost a lot of fluid. They will be giving her a 4-week course of steroids. We still need such a miracle.
