She saw the physical therapist today to get analysis but she was very sleepy so they couldn't analyze her as much as they wanted to. They decreased her steroids again and she will have this dose 6x.
Her CO2 blood gas was 61% at 6am and 60% at 6pm, so it is going down. The nurse gave her a better pacifier this morning and she sucked it right in and went to town. Every body in the room ran over to her incubator to see how cute she was.
This evening, she was turning her head so much that she almost extubated herself from the ventilator which would be very bad. She is getting so strong. I really hope she will come off of it soon and be on CPAP. Once she is off the vent, I can start to feed her.
Praying for Ava to get better and grow...
