Today is probably the worst day Ava has had since being born. Her blood gas was in the 80s a few times this morning. Finally after going up to 29 in the amplitude and 100% in the O2 she had a blood gas of 50. She has been desatting all day down to the 50s. Thankfully her heart rate hasn't gone down. She is still eating, but she is retaining so much water. That is what they think is wrong. She now weighs 3lbs, but that can't possibly be right. They may start giving her steroids again tomorrow. They have given her a stronger diuretic to eliminate her water.
I am so exhausted and really don't know what to do anymore. I keep praying that God will get her better. I just wondered when it's going to get better and STAY better.
